My name is Sharda Baker and I imagine we have something in common, the love of dogs.
This website is dedicated to the provision of the most comprehensive up to date and helpful information on the Golden Retriever.
Here you will find plenty of top quality information and help with all aspects of the Golden Retriever, including; the breed standard, the history, tips on purchasing a Golden Retriever, help with training, diet and nutrition and grooming, plus more.
I have been involved in the provision of dog information for many years now, and with the help of a great team, have now published several dog books and dog audio products.
The ebooks have covered several different dog breeds, including the Golden Retriever, plus I have developed a D.I.Y. Dog Training Package, that has been received very well and continues to be popular.
I am not a dog breeder but do provide some advice of choosing a good dog breeder plus tips on how to purchase a healthy Golden Retriever with a good even temperament.
I am married and have one 11 (going on 20 yr old) daughter!
We currently have 2 dogs in the family, one is 14 and still very healthy and active , plus an 8 year old who is a cute rascal.

Oh, before I forget....
You will notice that I am regularly adding more articles and information to the site. Eventually, I aim to set up an online forum and a blog, but as you know, this all takes time.
Lastly, as you can imagine, all of this plus my family keeps me very busy.This prevents me from having the time to answer general Golden Retriever questions.
